Who we are

Domhaven is a brand of Teamday s.r.o., a two-person company registered in Bratislava, Slovakia. We run online shops for a living. We chose the furniture we sell, we write the product pages, we place every order with the warehouse and we answer every email — in German, English, Slovak or Czech, within one working day.

Who makes the furniture

Everything in the shop is made or imported by Juskys Gruppe GmbH, Lindener Bergsfeld 9, 31188 Holle, Germany — the brand behind Juskys furniture and Artsauna cabins and saunas. Juskys is the producer of record under EU product-safety rules, and its name and address are shown on every product page, as the rules require. Declarations of conformity for electrical products (infrared cabins, sauna stoves, treadmills, massage chairs, beds with LED lighting) are held by the brand and available from us on request.

Where it ships from

We hold no stock. When you order, we place the order with the brand's warehouse in Holle on the working day your payment reaches us (card and Klarna: immediately; bank transfer: on receipt), and it ships from there straight to you. Parcels travel with DHL, DPD or GLS and arrive in 1–3 working days in Germany, 2–4 in Austria and Benelux. Freight items — cabins, saunas, large sofas, garden sets — travel on a pallet with a freight carrier, 5–6 working days in Germany, and are delivered to the kerb after the carrier has phoned to agree a day. The product page tells you which of the two applies before you order.

How prices are set

Our prices match the brand's own German shop, to the cent, and we check them every night. We do not mark up for the countries the brand does not serve directly; delivery to Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg is charged at a flat rate per order — from €9.90, free for parcel orders over €150 — shown on the shipping page and at checkout. We earn the difference between the brand's trade price and its retail price, like any retailer. Bundles (bed plus mattress, sauna plus accessory set) are priced below the sum of their parts.

When something goes wrong

Furniture is bulky and carriers are human. If a parcel or pallet arrives damaged, note it with the driver, photograph it and write to us within 7 days; we arrange a replacement part or a replacement item with the brand and you do not argue with anyone but us. You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind about any item, and a 2-year legal guarantee on everything; the details are on the shipping and returns page.

Why we started this

We were looking for a bed and an infrared cabin for ourselves and found that the German brand with the best value would not ship to Slovakia and had no one to ask in English. One order later we had a trade account, and this shop is the result: the same catalogue, sold the way we would have liked to buy it.
